Chelsey Tellez
Advisory Board Member,
Wildlife Biologist
Chelsey Tellez is a wildlife biologist and Arizona native—born to the desert—and the Scientific Director of Wildlife in Motion. Her work focuses on wildlife corridors, habitat restoration, and biodiversity monitoring across the Sky Islands of Arizona and northern Mexico, with field experience extending into Central America. For more than a decade, she has worked across working landscapes alongside ranchers, landowners, agencies, and conservation partners, restoring grasslands, rebuilding watersheds, and documenting how life persists—and moves—across fragmented terrain.
Grounded in field science and guided by a long view of ecological connectivity, Chelsey brings a place-based, systems-oriented perspective to her advisory role with Sky Harvest, supporting conservation efforts that honor both the land’s complexity and its capacity for renewal.
